Most people are familiar with their reading magnification,
which is the strength you need to help you read material placed about 14"
from your eyes. However, when most of us use the computer, the screen is farther away than this.
This means you may need readers that are WEAKER.
The above chart is designed to help you decide what
strength works best for working at the computer, and is based on your regular reading glass strength.
This is just an estimate, as people who sit closer to their screen may need a higher strength and
people who sit farther may need a weaker strength. And remember, though you
don't need a prescription to buy reading glasses, you should
visit your eye professional at least once per year.
